AI Reports
Pranaalika Nirman auto-generates structured reports from your live project data. Here is what the AI does, what it does not do, and how to use it well.
Report types
- Daily Progress Report (DPR) — what was done on site today, by activity and location, with labor and materials used
- Executive Summary — a one-page overview of project status, written for owners and senior stakeholders
- Financial Report — spend against budget, expenses summary, and petty cash status
- Labor Report — workforce attendance, trade breakdown, vendor performance
- Material Report — consumption against plan, indents, GRN, and stock movement
Each report type has a standard structure. The AI fills it in from your data — it does not invent content.
How a report is generated
- Go to Reports from the navigation
- Click Generate Report
- Choose:
- Report type
- Project (or projects, for portfolio-level reports)
- Date range
- Any specific filters (site, activity, etc.)
- Click Generate
- The AI drafts the report — typically in 10–30 seconds depending on data volume
- Review, edit if needed, and share (PDF download or shareable link)
What the AI actually does
The AI does three things for each report:
- Aggregates raw events (DPRs, expenses, attendance) into the report's structured sections
- Summarizes using natural language — converting tables and counts into readable prose for the executive summary sections
- Highlights outliers — significant variances against plan, slow-moving activities, large spend items
What the AI does NOT do
- Does not invent data. If you have not logged DPRs for a date, the AI will say "No DPRs recorded for this period" — not fabricate one
- Does not predict the future. Reports cover what has happened. AI Insights (separate module) surfaces forward-looking patterns
- Does not edit your raw data. Generating a report does not modify DPRs, attendance, or expenses. It only reads
- Does not have opinions. Reports stay factual. Recommendations live in AI Insights, not in reports
Reviewing and editing
Generated reports are drafts. You can edit any section before sharing. Edits are saved in the Reports Hub and the original data is unchanged.
If you spot an error in a report, it almost always points to an error in the underlying data — a missed DPR, a misclassified expense, a wrong attendance entry. Fix the source data and re-generate.
Sharing reports
- PDF download — standard, suitable for email and printing
- Shareable link — read-only view, expires after a configurable period
- Reports Hub — every generated report stays in your organization's Reports Hub, searchable by project, date, and type
AI usage and pricing
Each plan includes a monthly limit on AI Reports — see pricing. The AI Usage Dashboard shows your current consumption and which team members are generating reports.
If you exceed the limit, you can either upgrade or purchase additional AI credits. We notify you before you hit the limit.
Common questions
How accurate is the AI?
Reports are deterministic in their data — the numbers come straight from your records, not from the AI's estimation. Summaries are generated by the AI from those numbers. We review and tune the prompts that produce summaries. If a summary reads oddly, please email us so we can improve it.
Can I have custom report formats?
Standard report formats are tuned to what we see most construction organizations need. Custom report layouts are available on Enterprise plans. For Team and Starter, the standard formats are what you get — but feedback shapes future versions.
Will the AI use my data to train models?
No. Your project data is used only to answer your queries and generate reports for your organization. It is not used to train shared models. See our Privacy Policy for details.
